Directions to the Park From Route 7: Turn east on to Still River Drive (2.4 miles south of Veterans Bridge or 2.7 miles north of the Brookfield Town Line ). Drive ¾ miles passing a 4-way stop intersection (Pickett District Road), going over the Still River then railroad tracks, and just passing the T intersection with Pumpkin Hill Road. Our Mission Statement The purpose of the “Friends of Lover’s Leap State Park” shall be: to help preserve, maintain, improve and enhance Lover’s Leap State Park for the benefit of the general public; to solicit and raise funds; to educate the public about the resources, needs and value of the park; and to carry on any and all activities, consistent with its classification as a 501(c)(3) organization and which are permitted to a non-stock corporation under the laws of the State of Connecticut, as may be helpful and appropriate for the achievement of the forenamed goals.
